You gotta make the effort

A couple of months ago, while endlessly scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled upon a video that immediately caught my attention.

It featured a face I instantly recognized.

A face that brought back nostalgia and smiles: Steve Guttenberg, or as I’ll always remember him, Mahoney, the charismatic character from Police Academy, a series of comedic films from the 1980s that left a lasting impression on an entire generation.

In this short video, a now older Steve Guttenberg is seen walking energetically down a street, delivering a powerful message:

“You gotta make the effort.”

If you want meaningful things to happen in your life, you need to step out (out of your house, your apartment, your comfort zone) and make the effort.
