🎲 Randomness: The Key component to update your notes in Obsidian.
The real value of our PKMs, like Obsidian, doesn’t lie in how much data we accumulate but in how consistently we review and update that data.

A few years ago, I attended a series of talks about the future of smart cities, where topics such as mobility, connectivity, sustainability, and citizen security, among others, were discussed.
One of the most impressive talks focused on citizen security, highlighting how state security agencies, such as the police, are adapting their functions to this new global scenario.
Many possibilities and strategies were discussed, but they all centered around one core idea:
True security lies in patrolling.
While having a building or headquarters is important — with resources and various capabilities — the patrolling that these headquarters can deploy around a specific area is even more crucial.
Regular patrols and inspections of all city areas provide a holistic view and help maintain a continuous presence, thus preventing abandonment, which is critical in terms of security.
